Boccaccio 70 er et sandt sværvægtsmøde mellem legenderne Vittorio De Sica “Cykeltyven”, “Huntigeren”
m.fl.), Federico Fellini (“Fellinis Casanova”, “Amarcord”, “Det søde liv” m.fl.), Luchino Visconti (“De lange
knives nat”, “Døden i Venedig” m.fl.) og Mario Monicelli (“En moderne Casanova”, “I Compagni” m.fl.),
sekunderet af de tre mest sexede kvinder, som 60'erne havde at byde på - Sophia Loren, Anita Ekberg og
Romy Schneider.
Filmen bygger på fire erotiske fortællinger af 1300-talsforfatteren Giovanni Boccaccio (“Decameron”), der i mestrenes fortolkning flyttes frem til de glade 60'ere.

The Job, directed by Luchino Visconti (THE LOEPARD, ROCCO AND HIS BROTHERS) stars Romy Schneider (WHAT'S NEW, PUSSYCAT) and future genre icon Tomas Milian (TRAFFIC, ALMOST HUMAN). A witty contemplation of marriage with an attention to details was the trademark of the Visconti's incomparable style. Finally, The Raffle, an earthy comic romp directed by Vittorio De Sica (THE BICYCLE THIEF, TWO WOMEN) and starring Sophia Loren (YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW, TWO WOMEN) as a woman who causes all sorts of problems for herself when she offers her favors as the prize in a lottery.
