The Affair has it all. The story begins in Season One with Noah Solloway (Dominic West), a happily married father who finds himself attracted to Alison Lockhart (Ruth Wilson) an unhappily married waitress suffering from a recent tragedy. As both sides of the romance are explored, a detective investigating a murder shows up, shedding unwanted light on both parties. The mystery deepens in Season Two, revealing complex family ties, passionate betrayals and vengeful emotions just as all involved try to plan for the future.
