Hussein (Mim Shaikh) is a young, oily and amoral London estate agent who would do anything to get his commission. His life takes a dramatic turn when he is tormented by an angry ex-client, Orlan (Javier Botet) who has claimed Hussein s flat as his, unbeknownst to the estate agent. Orlan becomes a living ghost who haunts Hussein s sleeping hours, wandering around the house, hiding between the walls and conducting all manner of unspeakable acts most of which involve his own bodily fluids... As Hussein is slowly driven mad, Orlan kicks his campaign up a notch, will either of them survive what Orlan has in store? Freehold is a dark comedy with a sinister streak from director Dominic Bridges. |
