Legenden om Mulan lever videre, når Kinas modige heltinde sammen med dragen Mushu og alle de andre venner, tager ud på nye eventyr i Mulan 2. En film med masser af spænding, gode grin og ny musik!
Efter at Mulan har reddet landet fra de frygtede hunner, står hun nu overfor nye spændende udfordringer, da hun skal giftes med general Shang. Men først skal hun og Shang hjælpe kejseren med en hemmelig og ikke helt ufarlig opgave. De skal eskortere kejserens tre prinsesser til Mongoliet, hvor de skal giftes inden tre dage – ellers vil mongolerne angribe Kina. Mulan og Shang accepterer opgaven, samler de mest trofaste soldater og begiver sig afsted med prinsesserne.
Men da Mulan opdager, at prinsesserne skal giftes mod deres vilje, ændrer tingene sig. Det, der startede som en kamp mod mongolerne, ender med et skænderi med hendes forlovede. Og Mushu gør sit ved at puste til ilden...
