Meet Serge the psychotic trigger-happy harp seal! See the prickly pimpled portrait of Dorian Gray's Arse! Hear the thoughts of a sexually frustrated Giant Squid and witness cartoon violence that would make Tom and Jerry wince. This was the first animated sketch show; a show that was years ahead of it's time, which makes it trendy right about now. Deep within the shallow surface of each DVD you'll find a fast and furious flurry of deep and dark humour, hosted by the late great Bob Monkhouse. It was one of the very last things he did before he died and said of his part I play a slick, slimy devil! Great. Typecast again. Mr Hell started as a doodle by the famous High Macleod of www.gapingvoid.com and was expanded into a cartoon for the BBC with execs Jon Plowman (League Of Gentleman), Myfanwy Moore (Little Britain) and Gareth Edwards (Dead Ringers) over-seeing. The show won shiny awards, critical acclaim and a diehard following of insomniacs in the UK, Canada, Australia and the US on Showtime. Frustratingly (for us and for you) it has been unavailable to the public for years, but at long last, it's yours to keep and if you want, make it unavailable to others by hiding it under your bed.
