Peter Pedal møder Kayla, som er en tryllekunstners elefant. Hun har stærk hjemve, og Peter beslutter derfor at hjælpe Kayla med at besøge hendes brødre og søstre i Californien. Men da tryllekunstnerens stædige sikkerhedschef, Danno Wolfe, bliver overbevist om, at Peter har kidnappet Kayla, iværksætter han en storstilet efterforskning for at opspore den forsvundne tykhud. Animated sequel to 'Curious George' (2006), based on the classic children's books following the adventures of the inquisitive chimp. This time, George meets a baby elephant named Kayla who has been separated from her family. George journeys across the country with the elephant to take her back to her brother and sister. However, the new friends are being followed and are brought back to the circus in New York where their travels began.
