Samuels gravide hustru kidnappes lige for øjnene af ham. Han bliver slået bevidstløs, og da han vågner, opdager han, at den ansvarlige er den farlige forbryder Sartet. Hvis han vil se sin hustru igen, skal han gøre, som Sartet befaler. Mens han kæmper for at sin hustru og deres ufødte barn, er Samuel oppe imod både konkurrerende gangstere og skydegale politimænd.
