"Vinden i Piletræerne" fortæller den tidløse historie om fire venner fra dyreriget, Muldvarp, Rotte, Grævling og Hr. Tudse. Historien er baseret på Kenneth Grahams elskede og elskede børnefortælling.
Hr. Tudse (Matt Lucas) elsker alt, hvad der er nyt og spændende. Hans store besættelse er tidens nyeste opfindelse: automobilet. Og det varer ikke længe før han er blevet en rigtig fartbølle. Af frygt for at Hr. Tudse skal komme til skade beder Rotte (Mark Gatiss) og Muldvarp (Lee Ingleby) Grævling (Bob Hoskins) om hjælp til at stoppe hans tossestreger, men Hr. Tudse stikker i stedet af.
Da Hr. Tudse kommer forbi en bil, kan han ikke modstå trangen til at beundre dens motor, og han ender med at køre væk i bilen. Han bliver idømt 20 års fængsel for sin

Based on the much-loved and best-selling novel by Kenneth Grahame, The Wind in the Willows is a timeless story which has enchanted millions of people of all ages. This lavish new adaptation by Lee Hall (Oscar nominated for Billy Elliot) features a star-studded cast as the group of riverbank friends, including Bob Hoskins as Badger, Matt Lucas as Toad, Mark Gatiss as Rat, Lee Ingleby as Mole. They are joined by Imelda Staunton as the Barge Lady, Anna Maxwell Martin as the Gaoler's Daughter and Jim Carter as the Engine Driver. Well known locations such as the Riverbank, the Wild Wood, Toad Hall and the Open Road are brought vividly to life.
It's springtime and shy Mole leaves his hole and becomes entranced by the world he discovers along the riverbank. Befriended by the water-loving Rat, he soon encounters the exuberant Mr Toad, an enthusiastic and mischievous lover of all new-fangled things, especially fast cars. But Toad's irrepressible nature and love of motoring get him into serious trouble.
With the help of wise old Badger, can the woodland friends come to his aid? And will Toad ever, ever change his ways? |
